1.57X OPTICAL AND 16X DIGITAL ZOOM
In addition to its 1.57x optical zoom, the PLC-XU87 features a 1/2x to 16x digital zoom that lets you easily enlarge or reduce the screen display size as desired. The digital zoom function allows you to focus on crucial information during a presentation. Blackboards can be used as a projection screen. The board color is limited to green.

SIMPLE COMPUTER SYSTEM SETTING
The PLC-XU87 has the multi-scan system to conform to almost all computer output signals quickly. Up to XGA resolution can be accepted. There are two computer input terminals - DVI-I and D-sub input. The D-sub terminal can be switched to a monitor out for the DVI-I input.

WIRELESS/WIRED LAN CAPABILITY
The PLC-XU87 is loaded with the wired and wireless LAN network function. You can project an image on a computer as well as operate and manage the projector via network. For details, refer to the owner's manual "Network Set-up and Operation."

OPTIONAL USB MEMORY VIEWER
Insert the optional dedicated USB memory (POA-USB02) into the projector to project images or presentation data stored within. You do not have to carry a computer or other equipment for a presentation.

COMPATIBILITY
The PLC-XU87 widely accepts various video and computer input signals, including computers, 6 color systems (PAL, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC4.43, PAL-M, PAL-N), component video, S-video and RGB scart. The PLC-XU87 delivers UXGA signal compatibility with Sanyo’s Digital Realized Interpolation Technology (DRIT).

POWER MANAGEMENT
The power management function reduces power consumption and maintains the lamp life.

POWER-OFF AND GO
No need to wait for the projector to cool down. You can disconnect the power cord right after your presentation.

USER-SPECIFIED START-UP SCREEN
To create a smoother, more professional presentation, logo and image files may be captured for display during the projector’s countdown sequence at start-up.

SECURITY FUNCTION
The security function helps you to ensure the security of the projector. With the key lock function, you can lock the operation on the top control or remote control. The PIN code lock function prevents unauthorized use of the projector.
