Toshiba TLP-XC2500U
Conference Room Projector

Toshiba's TLP-XC2500U projector is ideal for
presenters who demand quality, versatility and performance. Packaged in a
compact form factor, the high-performance TLP-XC2500U features LCD technology,
2,500 ANSI lumens, native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, and 400:1 contrast ratio to
deliver bright, captivating images that can go anywhere, anytime. The
TLP-XC2500U features a unique anti-theft device for extra security. The
removable palm-sized control panel on the projector is specially designed with a
4-digit self-assigned password for theft prevention. When the control panel is
removed, the projector is no longer operable unless the 4-digit password is
entered on the remote control.
The TLP-XC2500U features an integrated, advanced
CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) document camera with 3-mega pixel
resolution, allowing users to create a comprehensive presentation without the
need to purchase additional equipment. Users can simply extend the document
camera from the projector, and position it almost anywhere to add photo samples,
printed documents, microscopic images, transparencies or just about anything
else into their presentations. With 16X digital zoom and built-in LED light, the
document camera combines high quality and innovative technology with unmatched
functionality. The TLP-XC2500U with integrated document camera offers extreme
versatility with exceptional ease of use that can take any presentation to the
next level.
At first glance, the Toshiba TLP-XC2500U looks
like a regular ole projector, with a funny arm sticking out of it. Its features
even are pretty vanilla: 2500 ANSI Lumens, 400:1 Contrast Ratio, and three XGA
(1024 x 768) LCD panels. But, it’s when you discover what that arm does that
everything changes: it holds a 3MP QXGA document imaging camera, and a high
powered LED.
Just like that, you’ve basically got the modern version of the classroom
overhead projectors we all loved to hate. Instead, in this case, you don’t even
need transparencies. Simply place whatever document you wish to blow up and
project on the machine, and the camera takes care of the rest. Other features
include the ability to digitally zoom on certain spots of the document you are
presenting, like spreadsheets or important details. Also, the TLP-XC2500U
incorporates a unique anti-theft device for extra security. A removable
palm-sized control panel on the projector is specially designed with a
self-assigned password for theft prevention. When the control panel is removed,
the projector is no longer operable unless the password is entered on the remote
control.
