The TFE830LCR is an in-ceiling speaker specifically
designed for superior sound quality in real world
applications. It offers brilliant performance as a left,
center, or right channel speaker in a multi-channel or
2-channel installation due to painstaking engineering.
This 8" woofer and 30mm tweeter model has improved
imaging from any mounting position due to a 15ยบ angled
baffle, a pivoting bridge mounted tweeter, room boundary
compensation, and three positions of tweeter level
control. The angled baffle and pivoting tweeter help
adjust the dispersion to better suit the TFE830LCR's
placement in response to the listener's position. The
Room Boundary EQ eliminates unwanted boosts in low
frequencies, known as a corner loading effect, when
mounting within two feet of a corner. The PTC protected
tweeter can also be set to -2, 0, or +2dB for further
adjustment to the soundstage. The flexibility these
features provide makes the TFE830LCR a premier choice
when value, space, and sound quality are all concerns.
As a part of DCM's highly acclaimed TimeFrame Evolution
series, TFE830LCRs offer lifelike performance and sonic
